Morris A. Davis is the Academic Director of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics at School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he has worked since September, 2006. Dr. Davis is a member of the Academic Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, is a Fellow of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, and is an independent director of American Capital Agency Corporation (ticker: AGNC) and American Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation (ticker: MTGE), two publicly traded mortgage REITs. Earlier in his career, Dr. Davis was an economist at the Federal Reserve Board. Dr. Davis is widely published on issues related to the U.S. housing markets and has developed price indexes for land in residential use. Davis is a frequent lecturer at Universities and Central Banks around the world and he holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. |
